The Company is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Technician in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The QA Technician shall conduct quality inspections and monitor Housekeeping, Food Services, and Recreational operations to ensure conformance to company and customer quality standards. The QA Technician shall provide weekly inspection reports to Senior Functional Area manager, Housekeeping Manager, Food Services Manager, and Recreational Manager. The QA Technician duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Job Requirements:


 
  • Create and utilize quality control inspection sheets specific to Housekeeping, Food Services, and Recreational areas.
  • Prepare a schedule for Housekeeping QA inspections to incorporate approximately 60 official office buildings and 900 dormitory rooms.
  • Prepare a schedule for Food Services QA inspections to incorporate approximately seven food preparation/serving areas.
  • Prepare a schedule for Recreational areas to include multiple gyms/workout areas, indoor and outdoor pools.
  • Write new quality assurance procedures.
  • Perform daily visual QA checks based on the schedules created for each functional area.
  • Communicate the results of inspections to Senior Management and the appropriate functional area manager.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements to enhance overall service quality and efficiency.
  • Collect and analyze data to find proactive solutions to quality issues
  • Document strong performance areas as well as deficiencies.
  • Continuously monitor processes to ensure that quality standards are maintained.
  • Maintain detailed records of QA inspections as well as relevant additional information and various metrics such as the number of areas inspected each week.
  • Create training guidelines to improve quality.
  • Determine the practicality of new and existing quality guidelines
  • Accompany NAVFAC inspector on monthly inspections of Food Service and Recreational areas.
  • Adhere to Safety Regulations to ensure that quality control activities are carried out safely and in compliance with relevant occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements:

 
  • Experience as a quality control inspector desired.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong regard for quality assurance according to company and customer standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent presentation and reporting skills.
  • Possess ability to perform efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Precise attention to detail.
  • High School Diploma
  • Valid Drivers License
  • US Citizen
  • Have government issued clearance at time of application
