Are you ready to lead a team that helps feed North America? Pacific Coast Producers (PCP), a growing agricultural cooperative, is seeking a hands-on, people-focused Operations Supervisor to join our production facility in Salem, Oregon.

What You’ll Do

Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll oversee a designated production area, ensuring smooth operations, quality output, and team development. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Supervising and training employees in safety, sanitation, quality, and production standards.
  • Managing processing and pack room operations to meet production goals.
  • Reviewing process records and aligning tank acceleration with pack-out schedules.
  • Performing cycle counts and maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Collaborating with the Production Planner and Operations Manager to adjust schedules and staffing.
  • Documenting production records and investigating discrepancies.
  • Implementing changes based on equipment upgrades, customer specs, or process improvements.
  • Enforcing company policies, union work rules, SOPs, GMPs, and safety protocols.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, food production, or related industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in operations management, Business or related field is a plus; equivalent experience also valued.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts if needed.

 Physical Requirements

  • Frequent physical activity includes sitting, walking, using a keyboard, touching, hearing, and speaking. 
  • Moderate physical activity includes standing, stooping, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
