About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Engineering Lead to guide a team of Quality Test Engineers in delivering high-quality software solutions. This role involves leading testing efforts, collaborating across teams, and driving automation and continuous improvement in our quality assurance processes. We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds and experiences who are passionate about quality and innovation.
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of Quality Test Engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Understand product requirements and translate them into effective test plans and test cases.
Perform manual and automated testing for both user interfaces (UI) and application programming interfaces (API).
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using programming languages such as Java or Python.
Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation and testing.
Work with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins) to integrate testing into the software delivery pipeline.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Developers, Product Owners, and Analysts to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Provide clear and constructive feedback to development teams to improve product quality.
Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to a culture of learning and innovation.
Requirements:
Approximately 10 years of experience in software testing (flexible based on relevant experience).
Proficiency in Java and experience with test automation tools such as Playwright and Selenium.
Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber.
Familiarity with databases and writing SQL queries.
Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
