JOB SUMMARY
As production & material Planner, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of parts for product line, with a primary focus on priority products and customers. You will combine strong inventory management skills with an analytical mind and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders,
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serving as key point of contact for make item sales orders
- Proactive customer communications on sales order date changes
- Managing work order on time delivery and exceptions
- Supporting Commercial team with accurate information regarding lead times
- Coordinating with Planning, Purchasing, and production supervisors on spare parts
- Managing inventory levels using SAP GiB
- Identifying process improvements
- KPI Management
- Collaborating with Supply Chain to identify and evaluate key suppliers on quality, timeliness, procedures
- Maintaining accurate data in SAP
- Participating in Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) cycle
- Discuss defective or rejected parts with inspection or others to determine source of trouble and take corrective action.
- Learn GIB module and adhere to planner standard work
- Additional responsibilities as required:
- Aligning aftermarket sales orders commitment dates with incoming purchase orders.
- Collaborate with customer service regarding ship complete sales orders as necessary to preserve OTD and take long term corrective action on replenishment.
- Provide lead time quotes to sales and customer service.
- All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A bachelor’s degree, ideally in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering
- 5 to 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling or supply chain in an aftermarket capital goods / processing equipment market
- SAP/HANA/GiB experience is highly desired
- APICS certification preferred
