Job Summary: 
Pima Medical Institute is seeking a dedicated Clinical Dentist for a temporary assignment to support our Dental Hygiene Program in Houston. In this vital role, you will provide essential dental services and collaborate with students, instructors, and clinical staff in a dynamic educational environment. The ideal candidate is a licensed dentist passionate about mentorship, ready to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and student instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive dental services within the dental hygiene clinic.

• Supervise, evaluate, and mentor student dental hygienists and dental assistant externs in clinical practice.

• Prescribe and oversee radiographic and other diagnostic services per Texas State Board regulations.

• Provide didactic and/or laboratory instruction as assigned by the Program Director.

• Ensure readiness and supervise care during any medical emergencies.

• Collaborate with clinic leadership to support clinic operations.

• Attend required clinical meetings and in-service training sessions.

Qualifications:

• Required: DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution and an active, unrestricted license to practice dentistry in Texas.

• Preferred: 3+ years of clinical experience; prior experience in a clinical teaching or supervisory role.
