ACCOUNT STRATEGY INTERNSHIP

Go Local Interactive is proud to be one of the fastest growing agencies in the Kansas City area. For this role, you do not need to be an HR expert, or even understand what digital marketing is. We are looking for someone who is ready to jump in and learn through a project-based experience which will start their career in a dynamic and fun work environment.

As an Account Strategy Intern, you will shadow the Strategy Team and support Account Strategists as they provide excellent service to our clients. You will communicate and coordinate information from our clients to our internal product teams and ensure completed tasks meet deadlines and exceed client expectations. You formulate metrics to measure the success of both the Strategy Team and our client’s marketing programs. You should be able to work well with a team, as well as take initiative to meet goals and deadlines. Your internship experience will allow you to take flight, and kick-start your career!

Job Expectations

• Shadow and support the Account Strategists on their client satisfaction and retention goals
• Communicate and coordinate agency resources to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction and growth
• Formulate metrics to measure company and client success
• Assist in the creation of customized strategic growth plans 
• Research and stay up to date on marketing trends

Job Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task in a flexible and fast-paced environment to effectively meet deadlines
• Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
• Strategic and creative thinking when solving problems
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office, include Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree (in progress) in Marketing, Mass Communications or another related field 
• Digital Marketing, Advertising, or Media Industry experience preferred 

Physical Requirements:

• Sit for extended periods of time
• Withstand seasonal changes in temperature
• Knowledge of how to use basic office equipment

Schedule

• June - August, 10 weeks (change as needed)
• Approximately 40 hours per week, traditional 8-5 Monday through Friday hours
