Job Title – Position Description: Registered Nurse Research and Infusion

Reports to: Senior Director, Quality

 

MISSION

The Research and Infusion Registered Nurse is responsible for the coordination and implementation of research endeavors. Additionally, the research/infusion nurse will administer and care for patients receiving infusion-based medications for various disease states.

  • Manages information effectively by understanding disease progression and interventions necessary for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Use clinical knowledge to assess and adjust the need for intervention based on the patient’s individual history and current disease/condition state to ensure patient safety and clinical outcomes.
  • Thrive in an accelerated change agility environment with the ability to learn and adopt new responsibilities, including adapting to various digital platforms, based on shifting demands.
  • Effectively utilizing interdepartmental, pharmaceutical, and sponsor resources to ease burdens of disease/condition requirements for various patient groups. 
  • Builds relationships among different agencies and community organizations to enhance knowledge of available resources for patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s in Nursing

Credentials/Licensures:

  • Registered Nurse 
  • Basic Life Support Certification

Previous, Job Relevant Work Experience:

  • 3+ years of direct patient care experience 

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous, Job Relevant Work Experience:

  • 4+ years of direct patient care experience in Urology field/setting 
  • Oncology/chemotherapy experience
  • Research coordination experience

Credentials/Licensures:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
