The Opportunity
This newly created senior role leads the ICT function’s performance and continuous improvement initiatives across the ANZ region. It is responsible for driving excellence in service quality, compliance reviews, process optimisation, internal audit, and change management. Acting as a tactical advisor to all IT managers, the role supports the Group Head of ICT in embedding a culture of operational excellence.
It plays a key role in shaping and executing improvement initiatives that enhance ICT service delivery and governance across Australia and New Zealand.
Key responsibilities:
Act as the change management lead for ICT, assessing the impact of change initiatives, identifying key stakeholders, and developing high-level change plans in collaboration with internal communications and designated change agents to ensure smooth transitions and user adoption.
Establish and maintain robust compliance processes and performance indicators, using data insights to identify shortfalls, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Provide timely, actionable intelligence to support governance and strategic planning.
Lead the reporting and analytics practice across the ICT function, supporting IT teams in identifying meaningful KPIs, tracking performance trends, and developing intuitive dashboards and reports that enable data-driven decision-making and transparency across the ANZ region.
Champion process improvement initiatives across the ICT function, applying agile methodologies to streamline workflows, enhance service delivery, and drive operational efficiency. Maintain high-quality process documentation to support consistency and scalability.
Lead a risk-based internal audit function, defining the scope, timing, and depth of audit activities. Coordinate effectively with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure structured documentation, clear reporting, and follow-through on recommended actions.
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong background in compliance, audit, and process improvement, ideally with Big 4 or professional services experience.
An internal control specialist exhibiting exemplary skills in evaluation internal controls in business processes.
Proven success in leading change initiatives and engaging diverse stakeholders.
Excellent communicator with strong influencing skills.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field; certifications in ITIL, Agile, Change Management, or Internal Audit preferred.
