Team Walmart is looking for a Senior Sales Manager to lead key portions of our Walmart business across Hasbro’s category portfolio. This role is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, commercially driven, and customer-obsessed sales leader to drive sustainable growth with our largest global retail partner.

 

You will be responsible for managing the execution and growth of specific business units at Walmart, contributing to the development of joint business plans, and building strong cross-functional relationships both internally and externally. This role requires a deep understanding of omnichannel retail, a passion for consumer insights, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders across Marketing, Licensing, Supply, and Finance.
This is a critical role for Hasbro as we continue to transform and modernize how we partner with Walmart. You’ll be at the center of driving our biggest retail relationship forward, with the autonomy to lead and the support to grow.

 

A Day in the life as a Sr. Sales Manager - Walmart

�� Strategic Business Ownership

  • Own and lead day-to-day sales responsibilities for assigned categories or product segments at Walmart
  • Develop and execute quarterly and annual sales plans, promotions, and merchandising strategies
  • Track and analyze POS and shipment performance, identifying drivers and risks, and recommending corrective actions

�� Retail and Digital Execution

  • Serve as the key point of contact for Walmart merchants and omni/WM.com partners
  • Lead modular and item setup processes, including pre-orders, online exclusives, and omnichannel activation
  • Partner with Walmart Connect and Hasbro’s internal digital teams to drive conversion and visibility

�� Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Collaborate closely with internal partners (e.g., Marketing, Brand, Supply, Category Management) to build and execute aligned plans
  • Represent the Walmart team in internal business reviews and cross-functional planning sessions
  • Contribute to Go Green, JBP, and retailer summit initiatives as part of the broader strategic growth pla

�� Leadership & Influence

  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to team culture and best practices
  • Actively participate in forecast planning, Commercial Alignment, and strategic whiteboarding sessions
  • Lead strategic storytelling for internal and external audiences, with strong focus on data-driven narratives

 

 

What you'll bring:

  • 6–8+ years of experience in sales, account management, or retail strategy, ideally in consumer products/toys or licensing
  • Strong analytical skills with fluency in retail metrics (POS, forecast, margin, digital KPIs)
  • Prior experience working with Walmart or major mass/omni retailers is preferred
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills
  • Highly collaborative mindset with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and lead from the front

The base salary range for this position is $116,000.00 to $174,000.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
