We are currently seeking a committed Special Education Instructional Assistant to join the post-high and Lee Elementary School teams. This is a part-time, temporary position that will support the following programs:
- Post-high program at the Ackerman Center 2 days per week for 6.5 hours a day and three days per week for 3.5 hours a day.
- Lee Elementary School 3 days per week for 3 hours per day.
- The total hours are 6.5 per day Monday through Friday.
- Associate’s degree or a minimum of 72 college/university quarter credits (Required)
- Certification as a highly qualified paraprofessional may be substituted for the education requirement
- Possess or be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR certification (Required)
- Experience working with children or youth in educational, childcare, or behavioral settings (Required)
Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or behavioral/communication needs (Preferred)
