Assists one or more teachers in the direct care and supervision of the children in a classroom or infant care facility. Maintains and prepares classroom materials, attendance records, health forms, and student files. Provides instructional assistance to individuals or small groups of students.

The college units completed will determine salary placement. Official transcripts showing a passing grade of C or better must be provided after job offer and prior to salary placement. 6 units=ISS I 12 units=ISS II 24 units=ISS IIA 36+ units= ISS IIB

Must pass the EMCSD Proficiency test. Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. AA Diploma or transcripts showing minimum of 6 college units that are degree eligible with a passing grade of C or better. Desired: Bilingual-Spanish, experience working with students in a classroom or equivalent environment. In order for application to be deemed complete all sections of Edjoin application must be completed, a copy of transcripts with a minimum of 6 units must be attached to Edjoin application (or AA/BA diploma).
