Location: We perform at our best when we feel trusted and are able to choose an approach to working that suits us best, which is why we are a remote-first company. However, we also believe in face to face collaboration, and our UK colleagues meet once a month for team time and quarterly for company get togethers in our Leeds office, so we ask that you be within a commutable distance that you are comfortable with in order to attend the office on those occasions.

Day to day we’ll trust you to:
- Be the first port of call for queries or problems relating to the delivery of Emerald journals, books, and cases content.
- Spot and fix errors: Use your expert knowledge to identify errors within Emerald content and lead the resolution process with content partners and Content Solutions colleagues.
- Collaborate with IT: Work closely with the Application Support team to develop our content systems, making sure metadata flows seamlessly throughout the publishing process.
- Support Peer Review: Help manage submission system configuration across the journals portfolio.
- Drive improvements: Get involved in continuous improvement events—projects, workshops, Kaizens—to help us make our workflows, processes, and policies even better.
- Take initiative: Work autonomously, keep things moving, and report back to the Content Solutions management team on your progress against key milestones.
What do you need to bring?
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- A knack for solving problems and making decisions

Technical know-how helps too:
- Willingness to learn our systems and processes
- Some experience with XML
- Comfortable with MS Office
- Awareness of accessibility is a plus
- Great customer service
- Confident communicator and relationship builder
- Able to negotiate and influence when needed

Roles are advertised at a benchmarked market median rate. Offers will be made within a range of the median, depending on skills and experience.
