POSITION SUMMARY:
To coordinate / lead production operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure all employees are working safely and working in a safe environment.
- Train and encourage employees to exercise safe work practices.
- Ensure all employees are working within Norma Saint Clair’s policies and procedures.
- Maximize and maintain plant through-put using NBS tools.
- Ensure good housekeeping / 5S practices.
- Communicate regularly with employees on both a formal and informal basis to ensure thorough, consistent and clear understanding of company goals and policies.
- Work with teams to ensure production objectives are met.
- Monitor and communicate plant productivity, through-put and quality performance.
- Develop and coach employees to facilitate performance improvement.
- Assist Production Manager with disciplinary activities as directed, including investigation, and reporting of incidents.
- Encourage employees to be regular and prompt in attendance.
- Assist and support Production Manager in implementing a training plan.
- Foster a work environment that promotes high morale, teamwork, and cooperation.
- Demonstrate good conduct and attendance for subordinates to follow.
- Lead by example. Uphold high standards and model them by your words and actions.
- Comply with QMS and EHS Standard policies and procedures.

- Capable of performing and training others in the proper execution, documentation, and interpretation of SPC data for Key Characteristics per Job Standard.
- Ensures shift personnel are utilizing work instructions, Job Standards, and all other required documents.
- Strong understanding of injection molding/Assembly processes.
- Holds daily meetings with operators to communicate performance, machine, or quality issues.

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: (R) = Required (P) = Preferred
- Associates Degree. (P)
- Three years of experience on manufacturing floor. (R)
- Excellent communication skills. (R)
- High School diploma. (R)
- Excellent human relations. (R)
- Clear understanding of injection molding and assembly processes. (R)
- Computer skills – basic Word, Excel, AX functions and Microsoft Outlook. (R)
- Clearly demonstrates written and verbal communication and presentation skills. (R)
- Ability to work any shift as needed. (R)
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment (R)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
- Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity equipment such as a calculator, copy machine and printer.
- Ability to maintain considerable levels of concentration while working under frequent time pressures and interruptions.
- Stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead and bend to the floor.
- Exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or
- Exert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or
- Exert up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Lift up to 80 pounds occasionally.

VISUAL ACUITY:
- Near acuity and accommodation are required for reading machine dial gauges, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments used in the inspection of parts.
HEARING ABILITY:
- Ability to monitor machine sounds to identify and diagnose changes to take appropriate action.
