Join Our Team as a Product and Applications Specialist at Epiroc!
Epiroc USA LLC is currently seeking a Product and Application Specialist for Underground Automation. Our Underground business focuses on developing, manufacturing, and marketing a wide range of automation and technology products for Underground equipment used in aggregate and mining markets. The Product & Application Specialist will be the technical expert in their market segments, collaborating with Epiroc Product Companies (PCs) to align product availability with customer needs.
The work environment includes being regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 25 pounds, frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds and is occasionally required to lift up to and in excess of 100 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Personal Protection Equipment may be required in this role. The position is considered Safety Sensitive.

The primary location will be Broomfield, CO. Candidate can be either based at Broomfield, CO or Garland, TX or Salt Lake City, UT

Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate Underground automation products value to the sales force and market for securing premium pricing.
- Participate in new product development programs, including conducting Voice of the Customer research to understand current and future demands.
- Research competition, provide product analysis, and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.
- Establish and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction with Underground Automation products through personalized service and leveraging the Epiroc service network.
- Coordinate the exposure of assigned products in the marketplace through trade shows, demos, case studies, and advertising initiatives.

- Manage the Order to Delivery process for the Customer Center, including order forecasting and coordination with Product Companies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related discipline preferred; equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the mining or construction field preferred , with a strong mechanical/technical background to support issue resolution and root cause analysis with customers.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to present information, write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) with advanced training in computer-aided maintenance systems, reporting tools, databases, and spreadsheets preferred.
- Possess a valid/active driver’s license.
- Maintain required US Department of Labor, Mine Safety & Health Administration Training Certificates, or complete necessary training programs to acquire and keep up to date with all customer-specific site safety requirements.
- Preferred location is Garland, TX; however, candidates within one hour of a U.S.-based International Airport will be considered.
- Travel expected, up to 50% primarily within the US.
