About The Team:Our plastics manufacturing client in the Marcus Hook area of Philadelphia has engaged us to to help them find their next Accounting Manager/Controller. This position will report directly to the US President with regular interaction with the European Corporate CFO.
Description/Responsibilities:
- Supervise and review all accounting functions in order to ensure accurate and timely financial statements
- Provide management with information vital to financial decision making
- Maintain relationships with external accountants, banking contacts, and insurance brokers
- Monitor company cash balances and cash flow
- Analyze customer credit applications and work with sales staff to accommodate special circumstances when needed
- As needed, collaborate with human resources on benefits administration including employee health insurance, 401K Plan, and Payroll Processing and PTO
- Process commissions for outside sales representatives and contracted sales representatives
- Production Entry as needed
- Sales Reports as needed
- Support President and Vice President as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- 8+ years of experience in accounting, management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Highly ethical and ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and to use discretion in dealing with sensitive information.
- Manufacturing experience highly preferred
- Experience with Manufacturing ERPs preferred
Other:
- This a full time position with the expectation of being in office 5 days a week
- Only local candidates will be considered

- Compensation to $110,000 with some bonus potential
