Role Summary:

The primary responsibility of Associate Real Estate Administrator in participating in corporate real estate planning, office relocation, process implementation, and the daily operation of the workplace experience for all the offices operated by Mutual of America.  Responsibilities include lease administration for all office locations; assist in the establishment, quantify and qualify of real estate requirements; and assist in establishing, implementing and adhering to corporate policies, procedures and programs in order to support corporate real estate objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Vice President Real Estate in all aspects of lease administration and project management of the real estate portfolio; through researching potential sites, soliciting and analyze proposals, preparing recommendations for stakeholders, maintaining and controlling lease records and financial reports; and provide ad hoc reports as requested.
  • Solicit, analyze and submit for approval leasehold improvement and facilities services through architects, engineers, general contractors and related vendors for alterations and daily facilities functions. Administer contracts for goods and services, including verification of deliverables, schedules and processing payments.
  • Maintain the physical inventory process including Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) and provide reports to other departments as needed.
  • Maintain and update office workstations assignments, space utilization and reporting
  • Prepare for submission monthly rental expense spreadsheets and update associated budgets, review and approve all landlord related escalation expense reports (annually).
  • Provide assistance to other projects in the Corporate Financial Services Division, including facilities, security and procurement.
  • Ability to travel to project locations up to 15% per year.

Required Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years or relevant work experience 
  • Ability to travel up to 20% 
  • Proficient in Microsoft office 
  •  Strong project management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail 

Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor's degree

The salary range below describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this role.  The role is also eligible for quarterly commissions (uncapped), whereby total compensation may exceed this range depending on individual and / or company performance.

Base Salary Range: $54,600 - $81,800
