About the Role:

A great opportunity awaits for a skilled Industrial Financial Controller to become a partner at our Ferrero Industrial plant in Arlon, Belgium. As a key member of the controlling team, you will report to the Local Industrial Controlling Manager and take on essential responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities:

In close collaboration with the Finance team based in Luxembourg, you will act as a strategic partner to the local management team. Supporting a high-end manufacturing activity with a strong international footprint, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Financial Closing Activities
    Prepare and coordinate monthly and annual financial closing processes in alignment with corporate standards.
    Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data and reporting.
    Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions.
  • Monitoring Production Performance
    Track and analyze production KPIs through weekly performance reports and dynamic dashboards.
    Leverage Business Intelligence tools to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
    Collaborate with operational teams to drive performance optimization and cost control initiatives.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
    Actively participate in the annual budgeting process in collaboration with production teams and support functions, both locally and internationally.
    Consolidate budget inputs and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
    Monitor budget execution throughout the year and support reforecasting efforts as needed.
  • Development of Financial Steering Tools
    Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and data reliability.
    Create tailored dashboards and analytical models to support various stakeholders.
  • Financial Data Management
    Maintain and ensure the integrity of financial data across reporting and manufacturing systems such as SAP, Essbase, HFM, and Power BI.
    Support system upgrades and integration projects in collaboration with IT and finance teams.

Who we are looking for:

•    Master degree in Corporate Finance / Controlling / Audit.
•    1-3 years of experience in controlling, preferably in an industrial environment
•    Very good knowledge of Excel
•    Good analytics skills, autonomy, problem-solving skills
•    Curious, open-minded and team player
•    Adaptability in an international and multicultural environment
•    Fluent in French and English
