Job Summary: Under the direction of the Lead Financial Analyst, the Associate Financial Analyst assists in financial analysis and process improvement. This position collaborates with cross-functional teams and ensures accurate documentation and recordkeeping.

Principle Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing insights to management for strategic decision-making. Assist with financial planning and modeling.
- Process Improvement: Under the direction of the Business Process Lead, continuously assess and improve processes and procedures to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and maintain data integrity.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and operations, to gather relevant information and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Documentation and Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, ensuring documentation is complete and readily accessible for audits and internal reviews.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by management, providing financial expertise and support as needed.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on financial data accuracy and validation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally across various teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, strongly preferred.
Work Experience:
- 2+ years experience in Finance or a related field, or commensurate combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis, including the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
- Experience in a highly regulated industry preferred.
Training and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Analytics or a related field preferred; Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Complete all required training as assigned.
