JOB TITLE: Software Developer

 

EMPLOYER: SEIA

 

DEPARTMENT: Technology Operations

 

REPORTS TO: Senior Manager of Technology Operations

 

EFFECTIVE DATE: 9/15/2025 

 

SUMMARY: Provide technical expertise in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of business processes with a focus on automation and reporting. Proficient in software lifecycle management, including developing, testing, releasing, support, and documenting.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implementing new projects with multiple dependencies.
  • Maintaining existing software. (Prod support)
  • Monitoring scheduled jobs. 
  • Documenting technical specifications.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging 
  • Contacting third party vendors (Custodian, Rackspace, Tamarac, etc.)
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer skills required: (Database Software (Access); Development Software; Internet Software; Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Design Software; Project Management Software; Word Processing Software (Word); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook); Presentation software (PowerPoint); and Publisher software. 
  • Other skills required: 
    1. MS-SQL and data management, web development technologies including RESTful APIs, ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, and CSS.
