JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Operations will focus on driving operational excellence, portfolio management, and process improvement across BridgeCo Financial’s commercial lending platform. They will analyze workflows, loan performance data, and credit worthiness to enhance efficiency, risk management, and client delivery while ensuring alignment with company strategy and core values.

This role requires a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial leader who is comfortable working both on the business (strategic planning, reporting, portfolio oversight, KPI development) and in the business (process execution, credit analysis, operational problem solving). An exceptional Director of Operations should be able to multitask between cross-functional teams, external partners, and leadership, demonstrating excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
•    Oversee ongoing portfolio management, including loan performance tracking, borrower compliance monitoring, and early risk detection.
•    Build underwriting parameters around the Company’s risk appetite.
•    Develop and implement operational processes, policies, and controls that support scalability, compliance, and loan servicing.
•    Oversee document, data, and reporting workflows to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant loan processing and portfolio reporting.
•    Identify new areas of opportunity for lead generating .
•    Foster collaboration across internal teams (Credit, Accounting, Legal, Servicing, Sales etc.) to strengthen execution and risk management.
•    Coordinate with Account Executives and industry professionals for hosting and sponsorship opportunities.
•    Occasional travel for operational site visits, borrower reviews, or vendor implementation.
•    Coordinate with Account Executives, Marketing, and The Director of Operations to align strategies aimed at increasing revenue through product development and relationships.
•    Work closely with senior leadership to translate company goals into operational plans, aligning resources, systems, and portfolio management strategies to support growth.
•    Provide monthly portfolio and operational performance reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for improvement.
•    Additional duties assigned as business needs dictate.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
•    3+ years of experience in operations, portfolio management, credit analysis, or financial services administration.
•    Proficiency with an ERP/analytical system or equivalent.
•    Strong communication skills and ability to build consensus among department leaders.
•    Proficient in excel, power point, solid grasp of analytics, metrics, data and statistics.
•    Business acumen: knows how to drive performance and can translate business objectives measurable results.
•    Aptitude for understanding multiple, interrelated, and complex systems and processes.
•    Must be a self-directed, results-oriented individual with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, continually changing environment.
•    Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.

PREFFERED REQUIREMENTS
•    Experience in commercial lending operations, portfolio management, or credit administration strongly preferred.
•    Proven ability to analyze credit worthiness and utilize reporting/analytics to drive portfolio and operational decisions.
•    Prior experience in Real Estate preferred but not required.
•    Proven ability to utilize reporting and analytics to drive decisions.
•    Occasional travel as needed.

•    Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently    
•    Could involve some lifting up to 20 pounds
•    Ability to work in time-sensitive environment with non-flexible deadlines
•    All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English
•    Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
•    Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.
•    Ability to sit for extended periods of time without much movement
