About the Job
Kent is seeking a Deputy Site Support Manager to support our site leadership team at Golden Pass LNG Project in Port Arthur, TX. This position plays a critical role in assisting the Site Support Manager with day-to-day site operations, monitoring progress across workstreams, and ensuring tasks are tracked and closed out in alignment with project milestones.
As the deputy, this role will provide coverage when the Site Support Manager is unavailable, represent site leadership in meetings when delegated, and maintain clear communication between discipline leads, functional departments, and the client to ensure project success.
Skills and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
• Operational Support: Assist the Site Manager in coordinating all site activities across ISBL, OSBL, Brownfield, and Tiger Team areas to ensure alignment with project priorities.
• Progress Tracking: Monitor key deliverables (PPR, WIP reports, safety metrics, admin/logistics tasks) and ensure timely follow-up on open items with discipline leads.
• Leadership Support: Support the Site Manager in managing safety, logistics, and administrative coordination, and represent site leadership in meetings or client interactions when delegated.
• Resource Coordination: Assist with resource planning and allocation, escalating gaps or constraints to leadership for resolution.
• Reporting: Maintain and update site-level metrics, reporting dashboards, and action item trackers to ensure visibility of progress and issues.
• Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as the bridge between site leadership and functional departments (HSE, QC, Construction, Commissioning, Admin, Logistics) to drive collaboration and problem resolution.
• Issue Resolution: Help identify risks, roadblocks, and operational challenges, and work with teams to develop mitigation plans that minimize disruption to project timelines.
• Client Interface: Provide client-facing support as required, maintaining professionalism and alignment with project objectives.
In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.
Your Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in project execution, site operations, or construction management in an oil & gas, LNG, or heavy industrial setting.
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and tracking deliverables on large-scale projects.
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
• Knowledge of construction execution, commissioning, and completions processes.
• Familiarity with safety processes, regulatory requirements, and site operations best practices.
Communication
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface professionally with project teams, leadership, and client representatives.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and workstreams while meeting deadlines.
