SUMMARY
The Implant Coordinator for Perioperative Services is responsible for ensuring the effective management and coordination of biological and non-biological implants, equipment, and instrumentation for scheduled surgical procedures. This role supports compliance with regulatory standards, improves patient safety, and ensures proper tracking and inventory management of all implantable devices in the operating room.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or 8 years work experience.
- Preferred: LPN or RN credentials preferred.
- Experience in inventory management, surgical coordination, or healthcare quality assurance is required.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and implant tracking systems is preferred.
