What You'll Be Doing:
As a Prevention Specialist/Athletic Trainer, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the health and safety of employees at a large manufacturing facility. Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform detailed analysis of department job functions
• Conduct functional testing for new hire candidates
• Assist with other safety/ergonomic initiatives as needed
• Offering proactive injury prevention and early symptom intervention services in line with OSHA standards.
• Conducting ergonomic assessments and providing recommendations to prevent musculoskeletal conditions.
• Collaborating with manufacturing employees to assess injury risks and promote overall wellness.
• Working closely with various departments to assess risks and implement ergonomic solutions.
• Ensuring a comfortable and safe work environment.
• Providing key metrics and reports to leadership and client partners.

You Will Need:

• A background in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Health & Wellness, Health Promotion, Human Performance, Public Health, Physical Education, Fitness, Personal Training, or Athletics
• CPR/AED certification or the ability to obtain it before the start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
• Basic knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations (preferred).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
