About the role
- The HR Manager will be responsible for managing payroll, employee benefits, and policy development, while also ensuring compliance with company standards and employment laws. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
 
What you'll do
- Payroll processing, to include ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
 - Manage employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision and all voluntary benefits.
 - Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
 - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
 - Provide guidance and support to employees and managers regarding HR-related matters.
 - Assist in onboarding, and training initiatives as needed.
 - Maintain HR systems and records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
 - Partner with leadership to support workforce planning and organizational development.
 
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
 - Minimum of 2+ years of HR experience, with a strong foundation in payroll, benefits administration, and policy writing.
 - SHRM certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
 - Experience with HRIS systems; experience with Rippling strongly preferred.
 - Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements.
 - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
 - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
