$17.05 hourly.  Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications.  North Area/Catherine Schweinsberg Rood Central Library.  Work schedule is variable and includes evenings and weekends.  Performs entry-level paraprofessional library work at one of the individual area libraries by assisting in the Circulation section of the library.

 

REQUIREMENTS:  Successful completion of one (1) year of college coursework at an accredited college or university [30 semester (45 quarter) hours = one (1) year]; OR one (1) year of public library or customer service experience.  Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.  SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS When usage statistics change, library employees may be assigned to another library.  In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
