Arobas personnel is looking for a Software Developer for a permanent with one of our clients located in Montreal. 

 *100% remote after probation 6 months* 

Location: St-Laurent, QC
Salary: 80–90K CAD (up to 100K for a perfect fit)
Work Setup: On-site for the first 5–6 months, then majority remote (hybrid)

About the Role

We’re looking for a versatile developer who’s equally comfortable coding in .NET as they are jumping in to solve IT support issues. This is a hybrid role (70% development / 30% infrastructure & support) in a small, tight-knit IT team within a stable, well-established company.

What You’ll Do

Software Development (Core – 70%)

• Design, develop, and maintain applications in C# / .NET (regularly updated).
• Work with SQL Server for database development and optimization.
• Support and extend legacy VBScript applications still critical to operations.
• Participate in projects such as ERP migration (Linux → Windows) and website/application improvements.

Infrastructure & Support (30%)

• Handle L1–L2 user support: printers, Office, login issues, “my app doesn’t work.”
• Deploy and configure applications in IIS.
• Provide basic server and networking support (firewalls, connectivity, troubleshooting).
• Manage on-prem environments (with Office 365 in the mix).

What We’re Looking For

✅ Strong .NET / C# development experience
✅ Solid knowledge of SQL Server
✅ Willingness to learn and work with VBScript legacy systems
✅ Interest in IT support / infrastructure, even if you don’t know everything yet
✅ Problem-solver who’s collaborative, curious, and comfortable wearing multiple hats

Languages: English daily, strong French is an asset.
