The Workshop Manager is responsible for managing LIN SCAN Tools Fleet in specific region, assesses tool conditions after runs, and controls all spare parts for any tools in the territory.
- Manage TM/Production Department and all the support staff in Logistics Centers within the LIN SCAN territories. Ensure the proper distribution and delegation of duties up-down within the department. Execute performance evaluation for the departmental personnel.
- Develop and execute corporate strategies for the TM/Production Department and Logistics Centers in LIN SCAN Subsidiaries, which are consistent with the LINSCAN objectives.
- Develop the proper communication between the Corporate TM/Production Department and all the Logistics Centers (if applicable) through EMS and regular reporting.
- Review and approve the equipment requests/PIDs from Operations.
- Review and approve the tool preparation plan and all the changes related to it. Maintain ILI tool fleet in current build state.
- Ensures proper allocation of resources to each tool preparation project based on agreed schedules.
- Ensure all technical requirements are covered during the planning and preparation phases.
- Follow up and direct Ops Asset, Production, Supply Chain managers and Ops Asset representatives.
- Control quality of tool preparation project deliverables with supporting managers and quality control representatives.
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate execution of the Operations project plan with the support of the Managers.
- Ensure production, assets, Supply Chain costs are not exceeding the planned budget for pre-planned and agreed scope of work.
- Timely and accurate report to top management about TM/Production/inventory/logistics activities. Ensure on time tool delivery.
- Ensure proper preparation and handover of equipment to Logistics as per LIN SCAN procedures.
- Ensure Quality & HSE Procedures are applied and followed all over all TM/Production branches.
- Management and formation of Logistics Centers in Head Office and in the Territories.
- Implement tool standardization and upgrade project.
- Participate in review committees for new design concept approval.

- Execute all other tasks as requested by LINSCAN CEO and Executive Team within the assigned job role.
Skills/Experience
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology, OR related degree
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a tool and production related role, ideally in the Oil & Gas Industry.
- Advance GMP training and implementation skills.
- Strong command of English AND ARABIC in addition to communication skills.
- Manufacturing/Production Industry experience.
- Must be flexible with work hours & timings.
- Budget adherence.
- No. Of rejected outgoing tools/spares (not higher than 3%).
- No of rejected incoming spares/tools (not higher than 3%).
- Zero Human /environmental accidents in workshop.
- Accomplishment of tasks on time.
- KPI monitoring frequency: once Monthly.
