This position also directs our OSP Residents & Inspectors, who oversee the construction teams, to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget to the required standard. The OSP Manager provides updates to the entire team to strategically manage risk, monitor finances, provide the required status updates to the customer, and ensure each phase of work is delivered based on the schedule.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversees and drives the delivery of the overall OSP FTTH project.
- Monitors construction progress, oversees scheduling and tracks budget to spending status.
- Functions as the primary interface for the client. Builds strong working relationships by providing regular status updates, facilitating alignment meetings, and leading escalation discussions.
- Coordinates closely with the Engineers and OSP Designers to ensure design plans are understood and followed.
- Manages a dynamic and complex supply chain inventory of materials and logistics.
- Builds strong working relationships with construction vendors to ensure high-quality, on-schedule, and within-budget construction.
- Manages regular meetings with clients, stakeholders, construction vendors, and project managers to report on progress and manage risks.
- Ensures the detailed project plan is followed and drives the entire team to work together to achieve results.
- Works comfortably within challenging environments requiring regular multi-tasking and reprioritization.
- This position is integral to our vision, strategy, and overall growth plans and requires strong leadership, people skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- The position is based in Charlotte, NC.
- Approximately 50% of this role will involve traveling to construction sites in the southeast US.
Requirements & Essential Knowledge/Skills
- 10+ years of experience managing OSP FTTH and/or copper construction projects is desired.
- Experience creating high/low-level OSP designs and reading and interpreting fiber traces is a plus.
- Experience in a customer-facing project management role is desired.
- Prior experience as an OSP Resident, OSP Construction Manager, or similar role is preferred.
- Experience with personnel management is preferred.
- Comfort in a rapidly changing environment with competing and shifting priorities.
- A keen sense of urgency.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as listening and interpretation skills.
- A high degree of professionalism and integrity.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams).
- HS Diploma or GED required.
