As our Leave Administrator, you’ll be the go-to guide for employees and managers when it comes to leaves of absence and workplace accommodations. From FMLA to ADA, parental leave to sick leave, you’ll balance empathy and compliance to create a smooth, supportive experience.

What You’ll Be Doing: 

• Manage all types of leaves (FMLA, ADA, parental, state-sponsored leaves, and more) with accuracy and care.
• Be the friendly, knowledgeable first point of contact for employees and managers.
• Track and report leave cases, spotting trends and helping us improve along the way.
• Keep us compliant with federal, state, and local laws while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Collaborate with HR, Operations, payroll, and benefits teams to ensure a seamless process.

What makes you a great fit:  

• Have multi-state leave experience and understand the intersection of FMLA, company-sponsored leave, and state-sponsored leave. 
• A self-starter who thrives in an independent, remote environment.
• Excellent communicator with a balance of empathy and professionalism.
• Problem-solver with resilience and optimism (bonus points if you bring a sense of humor, too!).
• Experienced in HR operations, leave management, and juggling multiple priorities.
• Tech-savvy with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• You think of excellent customer service as a superpower

• Highly emotional situations make you uncomfortable (we are exposed to a full range of emotions- joy, fear, sadness, grief)
• Details overwhelm you- being meticulously detailed and organized is a must! 
• You struggle with shifting priorities- urgent leave matters may require quick pivots and occasional after-hours availability
• You avoid phone calls like a dog avoids bath time — sometimes a quick call really is the best (and fastest!) way to help a teammate or employee.

This role offers flexible hours, is fully remote (with the exception of 1-2 in-person meetings annually), and provides an opportunity to have a meaningful impact on employees' lives. The pay range is approximately $50,000- 55,000 annually, for an average work week of 30 hours per week. This reduced work schedule still allows for full-time benefits, including medical coverage, PTO accrual, and more.
