Are you a passionate Early Years professional ready to lead a vibrant nursery room? Little Elms Daycare Nurseries are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Room Manager to join our wonderful team in Shirley.
Our nursery offers state-of-the-art facilities with bright, spacious rooms and fabulous outdoor areas for children to thrive in.
✅ What we’re looking for
At least 1 year’s experience as a Nursery Room manager
Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years childcare
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and Statutory Framework
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Confidence to use your initiative
A genuine passion for childcare that shines through your daily practice

Lead and inspire your room team to deliver outstanding care and education
Ensure daily routines, activities, and experiences meet the needs of all children in line with the EYFS framework
Provide a warm, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive
Be a key person for children, building strong relationships with parents and carers
Monitor children’s progress, completing observations and planning next steps in learning
Safeguard and promote the welfare of every child in your care
Support, mentor, and supervise staff within your room – ensuring high standards of practice
Maintain accurate records, including health & safety, accidents, and safeguarding logs
Work closely with the Nursery Manager and Deputy to support the smooth running of the nursery
Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals
