• Able to teach a variety of fine arts and digital art media

• Computer literate with knowledge of customer service management systems

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited, four year college or university required

• Master’s Degree in Fine Art or Art Education preferred

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to network, collaborate and build relationships with clients, partners, staff, remote colleagues and others

• Detail oriented to keep track of inventory, supplies, schedules and timesheets

• Familiar with organizing and promoting professional gallery shows

Position highlights:

The Head of the Art Department is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of education for students and teachers at One River School. You will build and lead a team of arts educators to become the cultural backbone within the community.  As the Head Art Education you will combine your love of art education with your leadership skills.  

Schedule:

You'll love our non-traditional work schedule which allows you to come in later and work later on 2 days a week.  You work on Saturdays (9am to 6pm) and have a day off in the week.  In the Summer, your schedule will shift to Mon-Fri 9am to 6pm and you'll have the weekends free.
