Play a key role in supporting the Mortgage Operations Manager to ensure efficient and accurate mortgage operations at SBSU. This position works closely with internal teams, including the Mortgage Manager, Loan Processors, Servicers, and Loan Officers, to maintain smooth workflows and uphold compliance and quality standards.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Post daily mortgage rates to SBSU’s website
- Oversee the sale of mortgage loans to investors
- Accurately board loans into the system
- Monitor and manage lock expirations
- Assist with closing conditions to ensure timely funding
- Provide support across multiple areas, including operations, servicing, underwriting, and processing
- Perform other duties as needed to support the mortgage team
Minimum Qualifications
- Must pass a credit & background check
- High School Graduate or (GED)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years banking and/or mortgage experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor's degree
Skills
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ability to learn mortgage-related software
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees, customers, and vendors
