Lunch Aide - Elementary School at School Lane Charter School

We are accepting applications for an individual to work as a Lunch Aide (11:10 am to 3:10 pm) and also work in our Aftercare program (3:10 pm to approximately 6:00 pm) at our elementary school.   

As a lunch aide this individual is responsible for the supervision and assistance of assigned students during lunch periods with orderly and organized recess activities.  Duties include:   

• Supports student activities to maintain a safe, secure, clean, and organized lunch time and safe playground recess
• Assists students with their lunches
• Monitors hall passes for bathrooms
• Monitors disputes between students
• Supervises students during outdoor and indoor recess 

Aftercare Worker

As an Aftercare worker, this individual assists the Aftercare Supervisor by: 

• Ensuring a safe, secure, and clean environment
• Supervising students during activities, providing assistance to students as necessary
• Distributing snacks 
• Monitoring disputes between students

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Experience in basic student management
• Skills in facilitation of non-competitive games
• Trained in required procedures of sanitary clean-up
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Excellent dependability and reliability
