Job Summary:
The Full-Time Admissions Receptionist will serve as the welcoming face and first point of contact for prospective students, their families, and guests. This front-facing role supports the Admissions Team by managing office traffic, responding to inquiries, and ensuring a warm, Christ-centered experience for all who engage with the College.

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years related experience required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- A strong, personal commitment to the mission and values of Lancaster Bible College.
- Prior experience in customer service, reception, or administrative support (experience in higher education or admissions a plus).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a heart for serving others.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort learning CRM/database systems.
- Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced front desk with grace and positivity.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greet all walk-in guests, prospective students, and families with warmth, hospitality, and professionalism, reflecting the mission of LBC.
- Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and online inquiries related to admissions, transferring messages appropriately and following up when needed.
- Schedule campus visits, interviews, and appointments for admissions counselors.
- Prepare materials and welcome packets for prospective students and campus tours.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk and reception area.
- Assist with data entry, document processing, and other clerical support for the admissions team.
- Coordinate hospitality needs for admissions events and open houses (e.g., name tags, refreshments, check-in materials).
- Represent LBC’s mission and values in all interactions, offering prayer and encouragement when appropriate.
- Perform other related duties as assigned in support of the admissions department.
