Career Opportunities: Delivery Lead (47437)
Help shape the future as a Delivery Lead.
Join the largest general insurance group in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. We’re a top-tier ASX-listed company helping to make the world a safer place through creating a stronger and more resilient business and enabling our portfolio of iconic insurance brands.
Your Role
As our Delivery Lead, you’ll be at the heart of a major platform transformation; steering squads, shaping strategy, and driving delivery excellence across a complex and evolving landscape. This is a high-impact role where you’ll define and own delivery milestones, lead squads focused on automation, decommissioning, and BAU integration, and bring clarity and momentum to initiatives that span legacy systems and cutting-edge platforms.
You’ll design lean governance frameworks and scalable processes that empower teams to move fast and deliver consistently. Your influence will extend across the organisation, as you engage with platform teams, business units, and governance forums to align priorities and build shared understanding. You’ll lead showcases, onboarding sessions, and education forums that spark engagement and drive adoption. While not hands-on technically, your deep understanding of platform dependencies, integration points, and operational readiness will be key to guiding teams through environment planning, defect triage, and GenAI initiatives.
If you thrive in complexity, love connecting dots, and want to shape the future of delivery, this is your opportunity!
This is a permanent full-time opportunity with hybrid working conditions, open to our office based in Gadigal Country (Sydney).
About you
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally meet the below criteria:
• Hands-on exposure to decommissioning frameworks, BAU operations, and platform onboarding, with a track record of delivering scalable and automated solutions.
• Proven experience in Agile delivery, including leading cross-functional teams and managing risk in complex, multi-squad environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence, align, and drive outcomes across diverse business units and technical teams.
• Excellent organisational and leadership capabilities, including workforce planning, budgeting, and coaching agile practices within delivery squads.
• Familiarity with delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow, and a continuous improvement mindset to optimise processes and ways of working.
Applications close Thursday 18 September 2025 23.59 AEST.
