This full-time internship is part of the Talent and Culture Team in the Family History Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This role is a project management role. The ideal candidate will play a key role in planning, supporting, and carrying out events for the department including RootsTech and assist with space planning,

The internship will be 40 hours a week for a period of up to 12 months. Specific responsibilities will center around event planning, space management, and employee engagement efforts. This is an in-person position that requires weekly travel to our offices in Lehi and Salt Lake City.

Project management requires flexibility, problem solving skills, and customer service in a high pressure and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

· Project management of space and facilities needs including the effective organization and maintenance of our online tools tracking space usage.

· Strong collaboration with individuals and managers across the department.

· Effective oversight of the day-to-day use of the employee recognition program.

· Exceptional customer service to key stakeholders, workforce, and management.

· Active participation with the Talent and Culture and HR teams, helping team members to learn and develop skills while delivering inspired experiences to the workforce.

· Assist where needed with space management, event planning, and the execution of key events.

Qualifications

· Strong project management and time management skills.

· Relevant experience and/or coursework in customer service, event planning, and project management.

· Refined writing and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

· Strong motivation to be part of a fast-paced team, ready to work hard and achieve high-quality results together.

· Currently enrolled or graduated within the last 12 months from an educational institution.

· Reliable transportation for weekly travel to Lehi and Salt Lake
