Global Brand Associate - Pokémon at Jazwares

As the Global Brand Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing a group of product categories and communicating regularly with licensees for the Pokémonbrand. In addition, you will navigate and track approvals within our Licensor's Digital Rights Platform (MediaBox, LAS, etc) while working on new and exciting product lines that fans love!

What you will do

• Work collaboratively with product design, packaging design, marketing, licensing, and other internal team partners to create a product that is the best fit for the brand
• Assist and collaborate with Product Development Managers through all aspects of product development, from concept to market, and ensure that concept phase and production phases align
• Utilize project management software for assigned projects
• Help coordinate design approvals with respective licensors and/or stake holders throughout the development process
• Ensure that all outsourced work is quoted in a timely fashion and approved prior to work performed
• Request and document 3D model costs, product unit costs and tooling costs as received from global Product Managers and suppliers
• Assist in interfacing with key vendors/suppliers and product managers, to ensure a smooth business process
• Organize submission tracker for our accounts
• Work with Brand Management and Design Teams to coordinate the timely creation and placement of development, photography and presentation models/samples
• Oversee the influx of samples, organization of sample storage
• Organize, photograph and catalogue all product samples
• Work with Brand Management Team to develop competitive assessments and research trends to identify future opportunities and to develop product expansion strategies for successful product lines
• Stay up to date with compliance/ style guides/ approvals through internal systems and external communication
• Work closely with the Director of Consumer Products on all projects and show proficient follow-through
• Provide timely feedback to the creative and design teams to assist in current product line innovations
• Manage day-to-day social media updates, as well as tracking our products at market
• Gather domestic and international field input on new and existing products
• Solicit and incorporate sales input into the development of new products
• Participate in key account calls, as needed
• Work with Sales and Contract Manufacturing to proactively manage inventory (excess, back orders, etc.)

What we are looking for: 

• Bachelor’s degree in an industry-relevant field preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in brand, licensing, marketing, or product management/development
• Knowledge and experience of the product development process for consumer hard/soft goods is required.  
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office & G-Suite
• A passion to learn about toys, play patterns, and other trends in the industry!
• Strong project management skills. Detail-oriented and strong organizational and time management skills while juggling multiple projects at once are required
• Ability to thrive in a time-sensitive, fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills - an articulate speaker who knows how to read and engage an audience and is a strategic team player
• Flexible with the ability to pivot quickly from one project to the next at varying stages of development without losing track

 Nice to Have                                                                                                                     

• Knowledge of the DRM (Digital Rights Management) systems a PLUS
• Experience in toys, licensing, or related consumer products industry desirable
• Experience in a global organization
• Multilingual a plus

The salary range for this position is $68,640.00 - 69,360.00. Base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for annual performance incentive may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, the salary range may not apply to other states.

Our work environment provides a flexible work schedule that includes Monday through Thursday on-site, with an optional WFH on Fridays, up to 20 workdays fully remote each year, and Time Off for vacation and sick leave.  Through Jazwares Cares, you will have the opportunity to volunteer for up to 16 hours a year on community service projects.
