Summary: The Technology Manager will play a key role in delivering Ready Foods’ vision of building a best-in-class Smart Factory Floor ecosystem. This role will support the digital transformation of our manufacturing operations, translating technical requirements from our factories into targeted solutions that fit into Ready Foods’ broader data framework, technology roadmap, and architecture. This role will be responsible for supporting our digital factory and office productivity environments. The ideal candidate would not only have a passion for operational and information technologies, but also a deep appreciation for manufacturing and engineering principles.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Information Technology team to meet the operational technology and business productivity needs by developing cross-functional digital skills and capabilities.
  • Supervise a team of 3-5 technical IT staff members, ensuring efficient workflow, providing guidance and supporting their professional development.
  • Integration of factory data systems and ERP data with on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure and support real time data and decision making.
  • Develop and implement strategies to design, plan, and optimize the convergence between Information Technology and Operational Technology (OT) systems.
  • Design, implement, and operationalize infrastructure, cybersecurity and operational technology architecture and practices to support harnessing our factory IoT data.
  • Support the development and delivery of a Unified Manufacturing Data model to support real-time factory data streaming, events & condition monitoring, and predictive maintenance to advance digital transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors, architects, partners and internal data teams to develop innovative technology solutions and communicate with business unit partners.
  • Provide training and support the technical development of fellow team members.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, an engineering discipline, or related.
  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology or Operational Technology roles.
  • 5+ years’ experience in leadership roles managing technology teams.
  • Manufacturing / Operational Technology experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of infrastructure and cybersecurity technologies and concepts, including servers, firewalls, network switches, network segmentation, vulnerability assessment, and risk management.
  • Ability to identify and cultivate potential in team members by providing opportunities for skill development and growth.
  • Detail oriented self-starter, with a growth mindset and a passion for technology.
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to think and work at both strategic and tactical levels.
