About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in managing diverse IT environments and will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining our IT infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can handle a variety of tasks, from user support to system administration.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for Windows, Mac and Chromebook endpoints, resolving hardware and software issues for our remote 250-person team.
Administer and manage user accounts and security groups within Active Directory and Google Workspace
Configure and maintain our Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution to secure and manage company devices
Manage and administer the Atlassian suite of tools, including Jira and Confluence, to support project management and collaboration
Deploy and update software applications and operating systems
Assist in maintaining and monitoring our AWS cloud environment
Manage hardware inventory
Lead small-scale IT projects from planning to execution
Documenting support requests in a ticketing system, and ensuring timely and effective resolution
Create and maintain documentation for IT processes and procedures
Collaborate with other teams to support their technical needs and projects
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field 1-3 years of experience in an IT support or systems administration role
Proven experience in managing Windows, macOS and ChromeOS environments
Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and engineering projects
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Hands-on experience with or exposure to the following tools and platforms:
Google Workspace Administration
Windows and macOS operating systems
ChromeOS operating system
Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management)
Google Workspace Apps
Mobile Device Management (MDM) systems (MaaS360 MDM)
LDAP (Active Directory, Google Workspace)
Understanding of Linux
Linux and Powershell scripting
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience supporting HIPAA / HITRUST activities in the healthcare industry
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work remotely, independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Comfortable interpreting and applying complex regulatory requirements Willingness to learn
