Requirements


The Business Analyst is a professional, skilled liaison that performs analysis to understand the structure, policies and operations of an organization to identify strategic effective solutions to enhance and improve the stakeholder’s performance and goals. They innovatively maintain the partnership between business needs and coordinate the delivery of technological solutions.  


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:    


  • Elicit new or improved business operation requirements from stakeholders based on examination of the existing processes and the business needs as defined by the customer  
  • Meticulously evaluate information gathered from multiple sources (such as interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions)  
  • Recognize conflicting information and seek clarification and reconciliation  
  • Deconstruct high-level information and distinguish wants from needs  
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to analyze requirements  
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely high-quality deliverables (such as Functional Requirements Documents, Business Requirements Design Documents, Flow diagrams)  
  • Effectively manages assignments and deliverables  
  • Perform other related duties as assigned  


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES (As specified by assignment TRAINING PROVIDED) :  Our client will provide, as required, training and tools to the team member to be able to productively perform on projects  


KEY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:  


  • Knowledge of business process methodologies (such as SDLC, Agile, or Six Sigma)  
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Visio or other workflow diagram application)  
  • Knowledge and experience of documentation, analysis and verification of business requirements  
  • Prior work-related experience  
  • Facilitation skills, Analytical skills, Negotiation skills, Interpersonal skills  
  • Strong written and oral communication skills  
  • Strategically thinks outside the box and presents creative solutions and innovative ideas  
  • Subject Matter Expertise in a large-scale program: Healthcare, ACA, Medicaid, MITA, SNAP, TANF, Child Support or other
