- Must hold a current Pennsylvania License as a Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS).
- In addition, candidates must meet one of the following pathways:
- Certification pathway: Hold a BCaBA (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst) or another recognized undergraduate-level certification in behavior analysis accredited by NCCA or ANSI.
- Academic pathway: Have at least 1 year of full-time ABA experience and at least 12 college credits in ABA from an accredited institution (or equivalent evaluation for foreign degrees).
- Supervision pathway: Have at least 1 year of full-time ABA experience under the supervision of a BCBA (or other graduate-level certified behavior analyst) and at least 40 hours of approved ABA training.
