Sr. Electrical Instrumentation Engineer at Brown and Root Industrial Services

POSITION DETALS:

• Responsible for Instrumentation and Electrical design
• Will develop Project Scope(s)
• Provide Estimates
• Prepare/Review Detailed Design Packages with Construction SOW
• Equipment layouts, voltage drop calculations, specification development and electrical one-line diagrams.
• Utilize specific software packages including ETAP, SKM, Easy Power, etc. for electrical system modelling and scenario studies.
• Familiar with codes and standards of NEC, IEEE, NFPA and ANSI
• Engineering/design of medium and low voltage facility power distribution, including substations, service, switchgear, relay protection MCCs, VFDs, motor starters, lighting, grounding, hazardous area wiring methods, etc.
• Engineering/design of Instrumentation Systems for measurement and control, including field instruments, control valves, pressure safety devices, station/unit control, emergency systems control, alarm/security systems, etc. including generating associated data sheets.
• Drawings include Loop Sheets, Wiring Diagrams, Panel Layouts, and Conduit/Cable Routing Drawings
• PLC Layouts and IO Lists
• Control valve sizing and specifying various process instrumentation, basic PLC programming and troubleshooting and HMI configuration.
• DCS and SIS system design, Control Narratives, Cause and Effect Matrices, PHA and LOPA
