Summary/Objective:

The Sales Coordinator serves as a vital link between the sales team and customers, ensuring a seamless experience from initial inquiry to post-sale support. This role combines strong customer service skills with sales coordination expertise to manage client communications, process orders, and support the sales team in achieving revenue goals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about delivering exceptional service while driving operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Assist the sales and operations team with daily administrative tasks including preparing quotes, processing orders, and managing customer accounts.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, presentations, for sales representatives.
  • Maintain and update sales databases, CRM systems, and sales reports, Shipping logs
  • Communicate with clients to provide information, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of customer service.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to support promotional campaigns and product launches.
  • Track sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Monitor inventory levels and liaise with logistics to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Handle incoming inquiries and route them to the appropriate sales personnel.
  • Support the onboarding process for new clients and assist with contract management.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office setting within a manufacturing environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as telephones, computers, printers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers and noise from manufacturing equipment). This list is not all inclusive. May operate on occasion within the manufacturing environment.

 

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to lift, operate equipment, use scanner, phone and computer. The employee may be required to lift/move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to traverse distribution warehouse and may access a variety of spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, bending, stooping and reaching.

 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm  

Some overtime may be required.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in a sales support or administrative role
