Bring your creativity, tech skills, and courtroom flair to high-profile cases nationwide.
Location: Houston, TX (Travel required up to 50–70%)
Department: TrialQuest (a subsidiary of U.S. Legal Support)
About the Role
Do you thrive at the intersection of technology, design, and law? TrialQuest is seeking a Trial Technician Specialist who brings a mix of technical know-how, creativity, and client-facing professionalism. Think of it as legal IT with a twist—part audiovisual wizard, part graphic designer, part problem-solver under pressure.
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow, learn, and deliver seamless trial support without needing years of courtroom experience under their belt.
What You’ll Do
As a Trial Technician Specialist, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes pro that helps trial teams shine. Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with attorneys and paralegals to prepare demonstratives and presentations.
- Creating and managing trial databases using presentation software (e.g., OnCue, Trial Director).
- Scanning, processing, branding, and organizing exhibits (documents, photos, graphics, videos).
- Synchronizing video depositions with transcripts and creating clips from designations.
- Designing and editing visuals in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Setting up, operating, and troubleshooting AV equipment (projectors, monitors, cabling, amps, etc.).
- Supporting trial and focus group setups, including digital and physical exhibit displays.
- Traveling nationally to support litigation teams—up to 50%–70% of the year.
Who Could Be a Fit
This role is a great match if you are:
- A tech-savvy problem solver who loves working with AV, IT, or creative design tools.
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Someone with professional communication skills who can interface directly with clients.
- A creative thinker who can conceptualize visuals and bring ideas to life.
- Excited by the idea of being part of trial teams and the energy of live presentations.
- Looking for a career that blends technology, design, and travel—and no two days are ever the same.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of trial technology, litigation support, AV/IT, or related experience.
- Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
- Familiarity with trial presentation software (OnCue, Trial Director) is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle trial equipment setups.
- Valid driver’s license and insurability required.
- A positive, “can-do” attitude with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours as needed.
Why Join Us?
At TrialQuest, you won’t just be running cables or clicking slides—you’ll be part of high-stakes litigation, helping attorneys tell their story in the courtroom. This role offers:
- Hands-on trial experience with cutting-edge legal tech.
- A chance to flex both your technical and creative muscles.
- Travel opportunities across the country.
- Growth potential within U.S. Legal Support’s nationwide network.
If you’re looking for a role that combines technology, design, and the thrill of trial work—this is it.
