Requirements / Qualifications
Early Childhood Special Education Credential
English Language Authorization, (CLAD or SDAIE)
Please attach a detailed version of your teaching credential from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing website and your English Learner Authorization.
**If you don't have an Early Childhood Special Education Credential, you may still be eligible to apply if you meet one of the following criteria:
• You have a current Education Specialist credential and are willing to be placed on a Special Education Limited Assignment Permit while you complete the necessary units for the added authorization.
• You have a bachelor's degree and 9 semester units of special education. Alternatively, you meet Subject Matter Competence for Multiple Subject (passed the CSET Multiple Subjects exam, hold a liberal studies degree), are willing to be placed on a Short-Term Staff Permit and enroll in an Early Childhood Special Education Intern Credential Program.

If you are intern-eligible in Early Childhood Special Education, please include your Intern Eligibility Letter issued by your approved CTC-accredited program.
Salary Info
$61,327 to $146,910. MVUSD will recognize up to 7 years of full-time experience for initial salary placement.

Due to state licensing requirements in the early childhood program, applicants hired for this position will be required to provide proof of Pertussis and Measles immunizations.
