Workforce Development Case Manager at Utah Community Action

Location: 1240 American Beauty Dr, SLC | Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm (on-site) | Type: Full-Time | FLSA: Exempt

What You'll Do

• Meet one-on-one with clients to create personalized game plans
• Connect people to community resources like job training, ESL classes, childcare, and more
• Follow up to make sure referrals were effective and timely
• Keep accurate case notes (we use an electronic system)
• Collaborate with incredible community partners
• Represent UCA in the community, like the pro you are
• Keep growing through trainings, meetings, and professional development

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in social work, education, or a related field
• 2 years' case management experience
• Experience in Microsoft Office
• Experience working with diverse populations, including low-income individuals
• Driver's License

Bonus Points (Preferred but Not Required)

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Have experience teaching or leading adult education classes
• Have worked with low-income or diverse communities before

Travel & Flexibility

This position may require travel between UCA facilities using a personal or agency vehicle, and a valid driver's license must be maintained throughout employment.

• Extended time working at a computer
• Fast-paced, detail-oriented tasks
