is a dynamic and supportive community that empowers adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through our community day programs, community living programs, employer services programs, and more. We provide a nurturing environment where our participants can thrive and achieve their fullest potential. Our Residential Services program operates six homes in Newton and Brookline where our team provides the individuals in these homes with a safe and comfortable environment.


The Development Systems Manager is responsible for managing the Raisers Edge database, gift processing and acknowledgement procedures, financial reporting and reconciliation, and grant applications. Additional responsibilities will include assisting with event planning and production, and prospecting projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Raisers Edge Database maintenance
  • Gift Processing and Donor Acknowledgment
  • Financial and Development reporting including monthly reconciliation
  • Donor Prospect Research

· Event planning, tracking and implementation

· Oversee data imports, global changes and data clean-up efforts

· Staff training for proper use of various modules

· Establish protocols and procedures to protect integrity of data

· Serves as lead for all reports – ensuring accurate, timely and relevant data from Raiser’s Edge including queries, exports and reports.

· Support program participants’ right to express their religious affiliations and cultural traditions through preferred and relevant activities. Support diversity of individuals served through respect of religious preferences and/or cultural backgrounds.


Experience Necessary:

· 4-year college degree required

· 3 - 4 years of experience in Development and Fundraising

· 2 - 3 years of Raisers Edge database management including gift entry, acknowledgment processing and tracking, prospect management, and reporting including queries and exports

· 1 - 2 years of grant writing experience

· Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge modules including the event module, online giving modules (especially Online Express), and Blackbaud Merchant Services

· Knowledge of Raiser's Edge campaign management including prospect and proposal management

· Experience with event planning

· Robust knowledge of Microsoft office programs including word, excel, and PowerPoint. Must be comfortable with mail merges and excel programming


Skills:

· Keen knowledge of Raiser’s Edge NXT

· Excellent administrative, organizational, and time management skills

· Excellent grant writing and Letter of Intent creation skills

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to work independently and part of a team

· Strong analytical skills
