Commercial Inside Sales Representative
Location: Greenville, Michigan
Reports to: Customer Service Manager
Middleby Refrigeration, renowned leaders in premium refrigeration and ice products, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Inside Sales Representative to support our growing sales and customer service operations. This role is essential in building strong customer relationships, processing orders accurately, and providing outstanding support to our dealer and distributor network.
As a Commercial Inside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for quality and excellence. You will collaborate closely with customers, the sales team, and internal departments to ensure inquiries are handled promptly, orders are fulfilled efficiently, and customer needs are met with professionalism and care.

Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. General hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00a.m. –5:00p.m. Overtime as needed.
Position Overview:
The Commercial Inside Sales Representative plays a critical role in supporting our rep and dealer network. This position is responsible for building strong customer relationships, delivering training, managing communications, and processing commercial sales orders with accuracy and efficiency. Acting as a key liaison between the factory and the field, this role ensures that representatives and dealers are well-informed, supported, and equipped for success.
Responsibilities:
Training & Support
· Provide product, service, and program training to the rep and dealer network, both in person and via Microsoft Teams.
· Serve as a subject matter expert on product features, pricing structures, and marketing programs.
Communication & Relationship Management
· Deliver timely and clear communications through email, Setvi, and other approved channels to ensure customers are informed about product updates, pricing changes, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
· Act as a proactive partner to reps and dealers, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with business goals.
Order Processing & Pricing
· Enter and process all commercial orders in accordance with company standards.
· Verify pricing, apply discounts, and ensure accuracy in all transactions.
· Support the resolution of order-related issues in collaboration with internal teams.
Inventory Management
· Oversee and manage offsite inventory used for trade shows, rep kitchens, and training events.
· Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate logistics for events and customer engagements.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support
· Partner with the Customer Service Manager, VP of Commercial Service, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to deliver a seamless experience for customers.
· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to customer service, sales processes, and communication practices.
Requirements
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
· 2–4 years of inside sales, customer service, or account management experience in a commercial/technical product
environment.
· HVAC, refrigeration, or foodservice equipment experience strongly preferred.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM/order entry systems.
· Familiarity with Setvi or similar sales enablement platforms (a plus).
· Ability to travel occasionally for training sessions, trade shows, and dealer events.
· Ability to work shifts and hours mandated by management and to pass a drug screen
