Job Description:

Job Summary

We are looking for an individual to oversee day-to-day Engineering activities, including day to day planned maintenance Schedules, along with ensuring equipment safety and maintenance, and executing Maintenance activities. Responsibilities also include documentation review, maintaining  quality, coordinating training, conducting initial incident investigations, and managing Maintenance Orders.

" Roles & Responsibilities

    1. Responsible for day to day breakdowns of various equipment’s & instruments in packing area.
    2.  Installation, commissioning and Qualification with eVal Application for the new Projects related to packing area.
    3.  Coordinating with CFTs for timely project execution.
    4.  Coordination with service providers during installations, commissioning and execution of qualification activities, breakdowns of systems & equipment.
    5.  Responsible for Instrumentation and Electrical related Spares Inventory control.
    6. Responsible for attending and closure of the Identified abnormalities through Ample application.
    7.  Responsible for Preventive maintenance, up -gradation, modification & qualification related activities for packing equipment, FGWH and PMWH Equipment.
    8.  Responsible for addressing & closure of relevant breakdowns & maintenance orders along with Root Cause Analysis.
    9.  Responsible for addressing and review of Incidents, Change Control related to packing machines.
    10. To follow cGMP.
    11. To follow relevant SOPs.
    12. To follow the quality procedures and regulatory requirements.
    13. To follow safety procedures.
    14. Shift handling and controlling shift related activities & Continuous monitoring of equipment performance for optimum productivity
    15. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall equipment effectiveness and reduce downtime.
    16. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting and implementing process enhancements.
    17. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and company policies in engineering activities.
    18. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all maintenance activities, equipment modifications, and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

Educational qualification

A Diploma/BTech In Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering.

Minimum work experience

4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.

Skills & attributes

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of Maintenance details.
  • Knowledge and experience in OSD packing equipments.
  • Experience in Track and Trace systems in packing.
  • Good understanding of GMP and good Engineering practices.
  • Experience in Bottle lines, Blister lines and Jekson Camera systems.
  • Proficiency in using computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, MHRA) in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Behavioural skills

  • Proactive approach to identifying and solving challenges in Equipment Maintenance.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, promoting a cooperative and inclusive work environment.
  • Efficient time management to meet Maintenance schedules and deadlines without compromising safety and quality.
  • Effective communication and training skills for user departments and service providers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety protocols.

  • Willingness to work in shifts as required.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
