What’s the role?
We’re looking for an organised and proactive Events Coordinator to join our Corporate Affairs and Community team on a 12-month contract. This is a hands-on role based in our Sydney office, supporting a busy events calendar that spans internal and external experiences across the country.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team that delivers high-impact events aligned with Westpac’s brand and purpose. From packing boxes of event materials to managing logistics and suppliers, you’ll help make sure everything runs smoothly — even when things get hectic.
This role is 5 days a week in the office, so we’re after someone who thrives in a face-to-face, fast-paced environment and enjoys being part of a team that gets things done.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the delivery of multiple events, from planning through to execution
- Coordinating logistics, suppliers, and communications
- Packing and preparing event materials for shipping and setup
- Running errands and assisting with on-the-ground tasks
- Managing calendars and timelines across multiple projects
- Working closely with stakeholders to keep things on track
What we’re looking for:
- Someone who’s proactive, thinks on their feet, and doesn’t mind rolling up their sleeves
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Comfortable working under pressure and juggling competing priorities
- Confident communicator with solid stakeholder and supplier relationship skills
- Tech-savvy with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote
